How do I add a Child Wristband for my child (10 and under)?

A parent or guardian will first need an account in our registration system and a Gen Con Indy badge on their account.

1. Once signed into your Gen Con account, go to the “Badges” link located under the "Attendee Info" menu. 
2. Click “Select” next to the child wristband badge type.
3. For Child Wristbands, you will need to enter an emergency contact number before proceeding. This number is only to help reunite family members who may become separated.
4. Your name and anyone on your Friends List will appear below that badge type.
5. If your child is already on your Friends List, you can select their name and proceed with checkout.
6. If your child does not already appear on your list, click “Someone else”.
7. Now click “Don’t Know”. 
8. Enter the child’s First and Last name and click the “Find” just above the First Name field.
   a) Their name will be added to your list, and a “passive account” will be created for them in our registration system.
   b) If they have a common name other names will appear as well. Make sure you select “None of the above” at the bottom of the list of names to create the passive account.
9. The Child Wristband in their name will be added to your cart. 
10. You can now complete the checkout process to register for the Child Wristband.

REMINDER: This is for children who do not have an email address and do not require access to their account. The parent account will be the only way to purchase items for this child. If the child obtains an email address and wants access to their account, please contact [e-mail], and we will help set them up with a proper Gen Con Account.
