Electronic ticketing, also known as e-ticketing, is a paperless ticketing method used for an increasing number of events at Gen Con. Not all events will be e-ticketed, but for those that are, physical paper tickets will not be issued. Implementing e-ticketing reduces the hassle and waste of printing, distributing, and collecting thousands of paper event tickets each year. When an attendee registers for an e-ticketed event, the event ticket is electronically associated with their Gen Con account. Attendees will gain access to the event by scanning their badge ID.
